In accordance with government guidelines as well as in the interest in of the health and safety of our employees and community, we have closed our taproom operations in addition to our sales to bars and restaurants in Chicago for the foreseeable future.
We think that this is ultimately the wisest course of action to curtail the spread of COVID-19. However, the economic impact on all of our staff will be impossible to recover from without government and community support. While we hope that the government is able to provide some sort of stimulus for all impacted small businesses, our staff stands to face very real hardship in the short-term.
Any amount of money you generously care to donate will be evenly distributed to our staff and will be greatly appreciated beyond measure. Take care of yourselves and know that all of us at Hopewell are immensely grateful for the continued outpouring of support.
We hope to share a beer with you one day soon.
