Hops Leg Amputation Surgery

Dear friends, family, and animal lovers,

Hi! My name is Sherry & I am trying to raise funds to help with the cost of Hops Leg Amputation! Due to his severe injury & the bone exposed, the vet has determined that amputating Hops leg is the only option to alleviate his pain and give him a chance at a happy and fulfilling life.

Hops is a beautiful, sweet & playful 13 month old jr cat.

He was injured when he was under 7 weeks old living as a feral kitten with his mom and litter mates.

It is unknown how he was injured but it left the bone exposed where it appears to have been torn off…

Unfortunately he was placed in a home last June & was never taken to a vet by his previous owners. So now he lives in a new home where he is truly loved unconditionally.

After his 2nd vet appointment this morning it has been decided that his surgery needs to be done sooner then later. Hops leg amputation surgery is scheduled for this Thursday, June 1, 2023

As you can imagine, the cost of the necessary surgery and aftercare is substantial, and it is a burden we simply cannot bear alone. We are humbly asking for your support and generosity during this challenging time. Your contribution will go directly towards his vet care!
