Hormone blockers for a year.

What does a parent want more than anything else? When I think about that question, 3 things spring to mind instantly: for my children to be happy, healthy and kind.

My eldest son is all these 3 things and I will do anything to keep it that way!

For all of you who know Rory, he has always identified as male. He has stood bravely and proudly both at home and at school to be his authentic self. He has been hugely supported by friends, family and his school despite having to go through some tough times. I need to keep my boy happy and healthy- In order to do this we have had to go down the Private Treatment option as we have been on the Tavistock waiting list since 2019. Medical support is non existent and it simply can’t continue this way. If privately is the only way we can keep him happy and healthy, then privately it is!

The financial aspect needs to be considered, and so my idea to at least try this as an option was born. Who knows.
