£25k Ramadan Appeal: Help Us Serve Our Community

Assalamu’Alaikum

As we enter the holy month of Ramadan, we are reminded of the importance of generosity and giving. We are reaching out to you for your support in raising £25,000 to cover the running costs of our Masjid for the next 12 months. Your donation is critical in helping us continue to serve and support the local Muslim community.

Serving the Community since 2005

For 19 years, the Horsell Islamic Centre has been a vital hub for worship, education and community events. During Ramadan, we host iftar meals and Taraweeh prayers, bringing people together to break their fast and pray.

But we do much more than that. Our educational services cater to both children and adults, providing a comprehensive Islamic education that complements their secular education. And our community events, such as family days out and children's excursions, are an opportunity for everyone to come together, socialise and celebrate special occasions.

Why £25,000?

Every Ramadan, we look to you for help with the costs of running the Masjid for the upcoming year. This year, we are hoping to use the funds raised to make several improvements to the facilities. Potential projects include:

- Installation of proper wudu area

- General refurbishment, e.g. carpeting

- Upgrades to sound system
