Hortencia Sanchez and Family Needs YOUR Help

Hello Right Choice Team Members, the City and County of San Diego, Fellow Americans and the rest of the world.

My name is Todd Brooks and I am the supervisor of a wonderful human soul.  Her name is Hortencia Sanchez and she is an extraordinary caregiver that has dedicated her life to serving the elderly population.  She is the consummate professional that goes above and beyond the call of duty to take care of the world's greatest treasures--our elders.  She currently works at Right Choice Senior Living in San Diego . www.facebook.com/rightchoiceseniorliving 

Our team discovered a few months ago that Hortencia Sanchez's son-in-law was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.

The diagnosis has been a shock to the entire family as her son-in-law has a young son and family that depend on him heavily.  The entire family lives under the same roof.

The son-in-law is soon to go on hospice service and I expect Hortencia to miss work for an indefinite period of time to  provide care for him.

This is an extreme stressor for Hortencia and her family.  Hortencia is the backbone of her family.  She is the jefecita/mamacita for her family providing the bulk of the financial support.  Her husband is currently not working at the moment.

Not only does she work tirelessly at Right Choice she is just as committed to taking care of her family.


I ask that you think and pray for Hortencia.  Pray for her mental health, her soul and spirit as she is faced with these difficult times.
