Hospice Help for Vicky

Hello and thank you for visiting my Go Fund Me page. My name is Vicky Taylor. On January 2, 2008, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, stage 3C. With the odds against me I realised I had one option: fight!

For the past eight and a half years, I have had two major surgeries and quite a few different courses of chemo treatments.

At my last oncology appointment the doctors advised me to go home and be with my family and friends. They have stopped any further treatment and I am presently setting up for hospice. 

I have met some amazing people on my journey, with family & friends that have stepped up in a major way. I am very blessed to have each of you in my life. You see, I have faced this nine year path, single. No spouse or partner. So, I am thankful for friends and family who have walked along side me.

As many of you may know from your own experiences, cancer not only affects the body, but the psyche, as well as the ability to work and sustain oneself through the years of challenges.

I was hesitant to create this Go Fund Me page as it's difficult to ask for help. But, the level of care I need at this time is one of the reasons I am stepping outside of my comfort zone.

I am grateful and thankful in advance for any donation amount that you are able to make.
