Hospital Beds and Equipment for TSCVC Residents
The Tony Stacey Centre for Veterans’ Care is in need of help to continue caring for its veteran residents, many of whom are elderly and require specialized nursing care. As a result of aging equipment and a steady decline in donations, the not-for-profit Care Home is in dire need of updated equipment to properly care for its residents as it heavily relies on donations to deliver its care services. Please consider supporting the veteran residents of this Home as they require specialized equipment to ensure their needs are properly met. These residents have given us so much in their service of our country and are in need of help. Your generous donations will be used to purchase electric beds, mattresses, and other medical equipment such as falls prevention and wound care supplies the mostly-senior residents require. The Tony Stacey Centre is a not-for-profit Long-term Care Home, named for Tony Stacey, the World War II Sergeant who worked tirelessly to establish the Centre that cares for Canadian veterans and their family members in Toronto, Ontario. We are distinguished by the fact that we are the only veterans' Long-term Care Home that accepts non-serving spouses of veterans, non-overseas veterans, veterans of conflicts post Korea and peacekeepers.
Please consider supporting our residents through this campaign. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and will go long ways in helping one of Canada’s most vulnerable and overlooked populations.
