Hospital Bills for Amber Schumacher

Everyone who knows my mom knows she is one of the kindest, most loving person I know. Our family has had a really rough time this year; my dad was laid off in March and is still unemployed, and my mom has already struggled for years with chronic migraines, asthma, walking bronchitis, and many allergies. A few weeks ago she tested positive for covid, and probably should have been hospitalized at one point while she was sick. She is so strong, and got through the the worst of it while quarantined from both me and my brother for weeks. Even though she has since recovered from covid, she has been having pretty bad post-symptoms. For the past 2 weeks she has been having such extreme muscle pains she can barely walk, and her energy has been so low she gets breathless just walking around. It is already so hard to see my mom in pain, but last night she went to the ER to get a CT scan on her lungs. She was kept overnight, alone at the hospital on New Year's Eve. They've done multiple scans and tests, and they found pneumonia in her lower lungs. They are still keeping her to run more tests. My family has already had multiple medical bills this year, on top of other expenses. I would just like to help in any way I can, and alleviate some of that financial pain. My mom deserves the world, and what this year has done to her as a teacher and chronic illness warrior has been brutal. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported our family, I know everyone is struggling right now, 2020 has not been kind to anyone, but if you have anything extra to give, it is beyond appreciated.
