Hospital bills for my little sister, Brenna Lee

Hi, my name is Audry Rhodes, I’m starting this fundraiser in regards to my 11 year old little sister Brenna. A couple of days ago she was with her friends at the neighbors house playing golf, when one of her friends accidentally over swung the golf club and hit her in the head, causing brain damage and a fractured skull. Since this incident, she has been transported to VCU to undergo brain surgery to repair the damage to her skull and a brain injury involving some torn lining in her brain. She will also have to undergo cosmetic surgery to repair the giant scar she will have on her forehead from this happening. It has been such an emotional roller coaster since this “journey” has started.. with the emotional toll from seeing the sweetest most gentle little girl go through so much pain and the toll of having brain surgery at 11 years old. Not only the emotional toll it’s taken on our family, but also the financial toll. My dad and stepmom did not have health insurance and the hospital bills have already started to add up to a tremendous amount that we just don’t even know where to start to pay for all of this. Their biggest fear is having to sell their house, their HOME to be able to pay all of these unexpected hospital bills. All that we are asking is for donations any amount of money you could spare, and if you don’t have the money to give, please share this page in hopes of it reaching somebody who does have it to donate. Brenna is 11 years old, she had just started a new school year just like any normal child has this last week or so.. and in the blink of an eye, all that has changed due to an accident that could happen to anybody’s child. She is the sweetest, most loving little girl and anyone who has met her would most definitely agree.
