Hospital Bills from Necrotizing Fasciitis
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Todd, and recently, I was hospitalized with an infection in my stomach that turned out to be necrotizing fasciitis. I'm seeking assistance in covering my portion of the out of pocket expenses for the procedure.
Necrotizing fasciitis (NF), also known as flesh-eating disease, is a bacterial infection that results in the death of parts of the body's soft tissue. It is a severe disease of sudden onset that spreads rapidly. Symptoms usually include red or purple skin in the affected area, severe pain, fever, and vomiting.
Luckily, this was caught very early on, and I wasn't nearly as bad off as I could have been had I waited any longer to seek medical attention. My insurance covered everything but $5000 USD, but my current income is insufficient to pay this in a timely manner.
Thank you for your time, attention, and donation.
