Meals for Family Dinner for Hospital Staff

My name is Jennifer Wilson and I own Creme de la Creme Catering. www.cremedelacremefoods.com Due to the current situation, our catering company has had to reduce staff since all of our events have been cancelled.  I am an avid volunteer and thought about how I can do something for others, at the same time helping my own staff...which is where the GoFundMe campaign began to take shape.

We are raising funds to help make Family Meals for Doctors and Nurses to take home after their long shifts battling the COVID-19 Pandemic.  After working, the last thing these heros should have to do is go to the store or grab dinner out.  We will deliver Family Meals for Four, as well as care packages of groceries. This  is a two-fold fundraiser for a catering company that lost all of their events due to cancellations due to COVID-19 as well as a campaign to feed those on the front lines. While thinking how we can help others, at the same time creating work for chefs and staff who have lost hours, we came up with the idea to feed doctors and nurses in the way we know best...large scale Meals made in Family packs to go.
The sooner we raise the funds, the sooner we can get chefs back to work and food for those risking their lives every day for the health of the nation.

While we have a large goal, we are breaking it down by planning on delivering meals to hospitals as soon as we are able to fund meals for 50.  Each time we have $3250, we will withdraw the funds and get the food out to the hospitals.  We are creating boxes that include a family meal for 4, plus groceries such as meat, eggs, potatoes, pasta, bread, fruit...and hopefully toilet paper!  We are coordinating with different hospitals each week to bring this to their staff as they get off their shift...to go home and spend time with their family.
