HOTWORX Hiking for Heroes - Mt. Aconcagua

HOTWORX Founder & CEO, Stephen P. Smith, has formed a hiking team of 4 athletes that includes himself and three employees of our Corporate Headquarters. Their goal is to conquer the world’s most challenging mountains known as the Seven Summits and dedicate their journey to the brave US Veterans who have served and sacrificed for our country’s freedom. We respectfully refer to this fundraiser as “Hiking for Heroes.”

On January 10, 2023, the 4 athletes will take on a 12-day hike to the top of Mt. Aconcagua, the tallest mountain in the Western and Southern Hemispheres and the 2nd tallest of the Seven Summits. At an elevation of 22,841 feet, our goal is to raise $45,682, which is $2 for each foot of their journey to the top of the mountain. Contributions to this fundraiser will be donated to Sacred Mountain Retreat Center, a non-profit organization near Deadwood in the Black Hills that brings our Military, First Responders, and Gold Star Families to South Dakota for a time of respite and healing.
