Houdini Bob’s Vet Fees

Hi, Houdini Bob is a feral who has been fed for many years by people in our community. He was brought to me by my 2 rescue cats a short while ago and I found out that many attempts had been made to capture him and he is well known to Cats Protection. Unfortunately he had avoided all attempts of capture.

his health was deteriorating, he was riddled with fleas and worms, had a huge abscess in his neck and a cracked tooth way down in the gum which was infected and made his jaw swollen. Had we not captured him

ams got him treatment, eventually he would have starved to death as the infection got worse - more so, he would have been in a massive amount of pain.

He has now had his operations, Cats Protection supplied a voucher for his neutering but the rest of his vets bills need to be paid. I have paid £1000 deposit but the bills are estimated in excess of £2500.

i have had Bob microchipped in my name so if he has problems in the future he has a guardian. Hopefully he will soon be back out visiting all the lovely people who have been caring for him for so long, feeling well and happy for the first time in many years.
