Hourly Wage Workers Deserve Housing
Donation protected
Right now, across Atlanta, service workers and hourly wage workers who cannot work from home are losing their jobs and their hours are being cut because of the COVID-19 crisis. As a result, their housing is also in major jeopardy.
Here at Code/Out, we realize people from all walks of life need help and support right now. We are using our infrastructure to ensure that housing needs are met during the COVID-19 crisis. Please join us in ensuring we have housing for all. All donations are tax deductible.
Donations will go to support people who need help with housing costs because of hours cut and lost employment due to the current crisis. We are working with both individuals who reach out to us and local Atlanta area organizations to ensure funds are distributed appropriately to people who face impending terminations or expulsion from their current housing situations. Funds will be distributed directly to the organization where the bills/fees are due.
$20 can fund one person for a night of housing.
$140 can fund one person for an entire week.
Keeping our community housed will be absolutely critical for wellness and health in the Atlanta area as the crisis continues. Help us create a community of support for all of those who live in Atlanta.
Creating a community of care is just one of the ways we can stay sane amidst the intense fear we have right now. Jump in. Let's keep people housed and safe!
