House caught on fire, family in need of help!

Hey everyone! This is my sister Sarah.

she has recently went through so much these last 2 years. Our brother passing away. Her fiancé grandmother passing away, aswell as his step father. We are asking for some help even if we don’t meet the goal required. They recently had a house fire on September, 25, 2023. Everything was pretty much destroyed and what is salvageable is either completely water damaged or fire damaged. What I am trying to do is get them back on their feet! Any help would help a million! on September 25,2023 I drove my toddler to his first day of daycare. I ran into pembroke to have a coffee with a friend and grab dog food from Walmart. I headed back to my mother in-laws to have a coffee and a chat. I arrived at her house at 1130am, after being there for 15 minutes the neighbor ran over to us and told me my house was on fire (we live 300 feet from my mother in law). I drove up to my house as fast as I could, the neighbors broke my doors down to try and save my dogs. The fire department was called and we waited. At 630pm we heard the news that the fire department found the 3 dogs and they had passed away.

Our home was built in 1834 and is one of the oldest log homes in western Quebec, we just purchased it in May 2022. We put all of our savings and hard earned money into a down payment.

kyle and I have 3 children, Shawnna is 11, Alexis is 9 and Aaron is 2. All we want is to be able to give our children the home they deserve.

I was unaware that our home insurance had lapsed in June. Now we are left to rebuild our home on our own. Any money donated will go directly to gutting our house and rebuilding (the structure is still sound).
