House devastated in House fire while on holiday

Hi I'm Dave, I went away with my boys to Wales this weekend and the day I was coming home I received a call from my friend to say I had had a fire at home. My house had been completley gutted and I've lost everything apart from what we took on holiday.

I have bpd and had just rebuilt my life back to a great place and got my house exactly how I wanted it and this news has destroyed me. I will now have to start from scratch again . I didn't have house insurance in place and the fire report has said it was an electrical fault, either with the council wiring or an e bike that was plugged in charging that was brought new from amazon. The council have said 6 months minimum to rebuild my home. In the meantime I'm sofa surfing and still have to have my children at the weekends .

I broke my back in 2009 and the e bike was a gift from a friend who was looking after my home and pets while I was away and he and the cats nearly died in the fire. He woke up in resuscitation and the cats needed hours of oxygen after being rescued .

I also lost irreplaceable items in the fire such as my late daughters photos, late fathers possessions and personal items, sentimental items my children have made for me.

The children’s Xbox’s have been damaged and no longer work as have their tvs, this means keeping them entertained on a weekend will now be hard. We also had a 12ft pool in the garden with the hot weather which they also now can’t use.

I breaks me having to ask for help but I've lost everything and need to start from scratch again. All help is massively appreciated.

the money raised will be used to replace items lost in the fire such as furniture, kitchen appliances, mine and the children’s clothes.

I will also be using the money to keep the weekends as normal as possible for my boys and keep them entertained now I don’t have my home and there belongings, until we are back home it is going to be a struggle and having bpd makes it that much harder.
