House Fire Aid for Victor Reeves & Sam Mutschler
As many have heard there was a large house fire on the 26 of July leaving nothing but the skeleton of the house behind. The smoke was visible and a loud boom could be heard across most of South Whidbey. Unfortunately, this was my brother Victor Reeves and Sam Mutschler's house that they lived in. This house was hand-made by Sam's parents Connie savage and Kevin Mutschler. The gorgeous log cabin took a long seven years to complete, which makes this even more of a huge loss to their family. They are well known on the island with Sam being a local veterinarian and victor helping build homes on the island. unfortunately, the speed of the fire prevented any of their belonging from being retrieved including all family memorabilia and photos. As many of you know the cost of coming back from something so destructive is expensive, so we are asking for help from the community in any way possible animal food, clothes, basic necessities anything that will help on their journey. We would also like to thank all the Firefighters and EMTs who fought the 5+ hour-long battle.
