House fire destroys home and leaves owner injured

update: I have been asked by multiple people to raise the goal for the fundraiser.
I wanted to give an update about mark for those of you who are concerned. He has 3rd and 2nd degree burns on 30% of his body. He will be needing a few surgeries and will be in the hospital for at least 6-8 weeks. He is in good spirits and has so much love and support. Thank you to everyone that has been donating, sharing and sending love❤️ it means so much to mark and our family.
Hi, my name is Christine and I am doing this fundraiser on behalf of my oldest brother mark who has lost his home and everything with it. He has nothing left and is left hospitalized in Toronto, in the burn unit. Time of recovery is still to be determined. Given the length of recovery, and the fact that he was between jobs, my brother will need help covering expenses. We are unsure as to what extent he will be covered. So we ask for anything that our community can offer, towards making my brother feel a little less devastated about losing everything.
