House Fire Fresh Start Lost Everything

Dear friends and supporters,

I am Tyler, and I am reaching out to you in a time of dire need. My family and I experienced a devastating house fire that destroyed everything we own. We were left with nothing but the clothes on our backs and the heavy weight of shock and despair.

We lost all of our personal belongings, including our furniture, TVs, beds, dressers, pots and pans, and other valuables. Additionally, my brother's insulin, which he needs to survive, was lost in the fire. All of my school books and bags, as well as my laptop for school, were also destroyed.

The water damage was extensive, and we've been forced to find temporary accommodations, which has been incredibly expensive for my father.

To make matters worse, the landlords and their legal representatives (John Kulikowski - Resolute Legal Services) have shown us no compassion or assistance. They refused to speak to my father and left us feeling alone and unsupported during this difficult time. Their paralegal even pushed the landlords into his van and said, “don’t talk to these people.”

That is why I am turning to you, our community, for help. We need financial assistance to rebuild our lives and get back on our feet. Every donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping us rebuild our lives.

As an 18-year-old with brothers aged 16 and 15, this has been a life lesson for us. We make a promise to one day pay this forward and help other people in need.
