House Fire Just Before Christmas

Hi everyone my name is Chris .On the the 2nd of November I woke up to my daughter hitting Me on my feet telling me "next door was on fire and there is a lot of smoke coming in our house " I rushed out of bed and got my children out of the house as 1 of my children were home in bed sick and they other child was waiting on a transfer with schools. As I walked down the hallway towards the backdoor I seen a thick wall of smoke coming towards us. So I pushed kids to the left thro the laundry door and out the back door and moved to the back of the yard so they were safe. I than looked at the side of my house and realised it wasn't the neighbors house on fire it was MINE! A police officer then appeared out of nowhere and asked "was everyone safe and accounted for "I said "yes my eldest son is at school doing year 12 there is no one left in the house" . I then asked the police officer "Can I run back In and get my pants?" He said "no " and got me to lead my children thro the back ally and around the corner to a ambulance that wanted to check us over . As the ambulance checked the kids over I stood and watched my roof start to cave in....

We are currently staying in a hotel provided by link to home till Monday . After then we aren't sure ....

We would like to just get back on our feet and find a new place to rent but so many costs keep coming up and then there is Christmas . Also trying to salvage what I can is taking alot in fuel costs as the hotel is 35 mins drive in good traffic also work is 35 mins away as well now. Things are taking a toll on us at the moment and help would be greatly appreciated thanks for reading

We have just hit our goal and I can't believe it. Thanks everyone so much for all the love and support . It means the world to us . Any money raised after the goal will go towards Christmas.
