No Home due to house Fire Lost everything they had

We are a family of 4 that recently had a shocking experience when our entire house went up in flames.

We did not have renters insurance.

We desperately need your support. Myself and my family just lost absolutly everything we worked to make a house a home burned down recently and we are currently having a difficult time finding a place for rent.

I am about the community and constantly helping those in need.

I am about being there for people who truly feel alone and I remind them that they are not and someone out there still needs them.

It's our purpose in life

I am not able to deal with how much I'm going through inside until my family can settle in somewhere

We also lost our vehicle in the fire as well so transportation is limited.

We are at the last of our savings and paying for airbnbs

We did not have renters insurance and the fire came from outside our home and spread.

We need money for food, shelter, rent and damage, clothes, shoes, so we can start all over again.

My name is Candice and I'm still in shock after a man lit our home on fire. I heard a noise sounding like someone might have fallen, and then I heard papa Dave yelling “call 911! fire, there's a fire!” I ran out of my room in fear to check and I panicked as I could see the fire was spreading very quickly. I ran to grab my 2 children, aged 7 and 13. I picked up my daughter and followed my son out the front door. If we were in the house a minute longer, we would not have made it out. The entire house blew up and our truck and car did as well. My family and I were in total shock as we watched everything we worked to make a house a home go up in flames. I am still in shock.

We are currently in a hotel until December 6th, and it is nearly impossible to find a place to live or go. We lost everything we owned—everything except each other. At least we have each other.
