House fire recovery for the Berwind-Kinney Family

Hi! Our names are Becky DiRe & Heather Crisitello. Our good friend Elizabeth & her family has suffered a tragic fire in their home on the morning of New Years Day, January 1, 2024.

The Berwind/Kinney's, a family of 6, who are residents of Lebanon Township had a house fire that destroyed their girl’s bedroom and though the fire company did an amazing job exhausting the fire the rest of the house-sustained severer damage due to the smoke and water. The family is currently staying with another family member while they start to rebuild their lives.

All family members made it out of the house safely. A minor injury was incurred, and immediate medical attention was needed. Unfortunately, the bills for these injuries are not covered by the insurance nor will any of the follow up visits. The family did need to take their fur babies to the vet for smoke inhalation. Both working adults have needed to take time off from work to care for their children and to get the ball rolling to rebuild. These funds will be used to recover items lost, clothing, food, bills, needs for the days following the fire and any unforeseen financial burdens that will come up in the following weeks.

We appreciate anything and everything you can do to support the Berwind/Kinney family during this devastating time. While grieving the loss of their home, they are grateful for their safety. As family, friends, and neighbors have rallied around them, we are kindly asking for donations to help them get through this unimaginable tragedy. Even just a prayer for them would be a blessing at this time.
