House Fire Recovery Fund for Cecily

These past few years have been challenging for everyone. Many of us have struggled to regain a new understanding of normal and altogether a sense of structure. Most of us have found a way of coping with the chaos, and have turned to the safety and comfort of our homes - wherever we now call home - and communities.

That shelter and connection were lost for one of our own, Cecily Romanowski. During the summer of last year, Cecily's home was severely damaged in a disastrous fire that also took many personal belongings. This has caused her and her family to be displaced for almost a year now, as insurance claims, inspectors, and rebuilding has become a part of her new normal.

Unfortunately, construction delays pushed back the final date of their homes' rebuilding, and the insurance money has run dry for their temporary living situation. Cecily has been caught at an impasse, attempting to find a way to provide for her family while also showing up to work every day, and giving it all for her team. It's our chance now to show up for her.
