Save House of Wheels!

For over 5 years we have loved serving the skatepark community in Edmonton and now Calgary through House of Wheels. These indoor skateparks have seen countless smiling faces, mind blowing athletic performances, and roaring park wide celebrations!

We've worked hard to build the passion for action sports in existing riders, while introducing the next generation to an thrilling life on wheels. Through our field trips, lessons, summer camps, jams and competitions we have made these sports available to all, year-round.

Currently, we find ourselves against a wall. The late summer, early fall seasons are always crunch time for us. But this year with increased rent, and prolonged warm fall weather, there has been a drastic drop in visiting riders. We have fallen further and further behind on rent payments, and have now received letters from both landlords demanding that we catch up, or face consequences It has become apparent that we will not be able to meet these demands without your help.
By December 31, 2023 we need $55,000.
The road ahead will not be easy but we know, with continued daily support from you, the riders, the winter months can set us up for on-going success. Without your immediate assistance House of Wheels will unfortunately be forced to shut down.

$55,000 may seem like a huge amount however:
  • Monthly Edmonton Rent: $26,000
  • Monthly Calgary Rent: $10,000
  • Monthly avrg. Utilities: $7,500
  • Park repairs, insurance, staff wages, etc.
$55,000 is a MINIMUM for survival into 2024.

Our operations are on going and we continue to do everything possible to ensure the future prospects of these facilities. But our landlord's patience is running low, and we have found our selves with no other options.

So now, we reach out to the riders, the community that we have come to know as friends, for a boost of support at our lowest time. If you have enjoyed House of Wheels, and would like to see what the future holds for us. If you believe in the positive impact an indoor riding facility can have on people from all backgrounds, skill levels, and disciplines. Please donate to keep this amazing park open.

We believe in the riding community here in Alberta. We have plans to better position ourselves to serve you in the future.

As owners of House of Wheels, we do not make large sums of personal money by any measure. Brent and Aiden will be starting new jobs in the new year, to allow House of Wheels to keep/use more of the annual revenue. Most of our employees make minimum or next to minimum wage, with as many hours as we can afford to schedule in order to provide the services, lessons, and atmosphere expected of us. We want to keep this incredible team employed in what they love. Your donations will be handled with care, and only put to use on crucial matters (ie. Paying rent). Please share our story with anyone you know that can help. Thank you, it's been a wild ride, and we hope to keep on riding.

A sincere thank you.. Brent, Aiden, and Bevan
