Houseless winter survival fundraiser for DMMA

Des Moines Mutual Aid needs your help! In 2021 DMMA spent $31,157 on heat and other survival supplies. DMMA will need at least that much to continue the work they do with our houseless neighbors to protect their autonomy and survival. The CISS shelter is not an option for everyone with their jail like organizing and no pet policy. Joppa doesn’t care if the temperature dips below freezing before their board dictates when to start giving life saving, heating resources to those they deem worthy.  Every single penny donated goes directly to buying needed survival supplies, not to fatten the wallets of CEOs.  With this funding goal, Des Moines Mutual Aid can continue offering survival aid without judgment or an agenda, in solidarity with our houseless community.
