Keep House Of Ice Cream Alive

I never thought I’d see the day I’d have to shut the doors at house of ice cream. But due to covid 19 this nightmare has become a reality. I’ve waited to make this post out of pride and that pride has cost us our Lodi shop which we were forced to close in March. No all we have is our baby , our pride and joy, our first and only store, house of ice cream Stockton.
All of our savings have been whipped out because of this. When we moved out all of our belongings from the Lodi shop we couldn’t even afford to get a storage so we gave away most of the big appliance for free on Facebook market place and the rest we took to my moms house. I still have half of the store in my cargo van. Just sitting there. One thing I’m most ashamed of is the fact that I still owe my landlord for back rent. I tell him every time I see him that I want to pay but I just can’t. At this point I’m just trying to hold on to Stockton.
We’ve been showing up to work everyday , doing curbside pickup . We refuse to loose it all due to Covid 19. We pray and tell each other that everything happens for a reason. We just smile and try and comfort each Other by saying this is god plan. We have faith. We have faith that someone out there will hear this message and be our light at the end of the tunnel. #smallbusinessrelief
