Housing Cambodia one family at a time

Hello everyone. We are Harvey Raidis and Ellora Schell.

This January we are heading to Cambodia with our grandpa Ron to assist New Hope Cambodia.

New Hope is a non-profit organisation that focuses on transforming the lives of impoverished preschool aged children and youth by providing free education, health care and community and crisis care support.

For 14 years our Grandpa has volunteered with the organisation and we couldn’t be more excited to have the opportunity to join him on his next trip.

We will spend two weeks in Cambodia and will be splitting our time between building a house for a family in need and getting to know the community Grandpa talks to highly about.

Anybody that knows our family is aware that 10 people means a huge household and we are fortunate enough to have everything we need. The family we have been connected with are also a large family of 10 who as of right now have no household to live in (pictured).

To help this family, we are aiming to fundraise $10k that will go directly into building a home for them. We know this is a huge goal but we believe that with the help of our families and friends we will truly be able to make an impact where it matters most.
