Housing for the Ducat family

Elizabeth and Tim Ducat along with their 2 month old baby (not pictured due to the parents' discretion around posting baby photos online) were told in this last month that they now need to move out of their current living situation that they've been in since June. They currently have no place to go and are searching for a temporary residence while they secure more stable housing for the upcoming winter months. They'd also just begun the journey towards recovering from a recent financial loss which cleared their savings and created unwanted debt. This current housing insecurity, in addition to approaching the time for them to both return to work after maternity/paternity leave, has placed them yet again in a bind.

Any money donated will be used to secure housing, including the deposit, the first and last months rent (now required for many rental units), the application fees, background study and admin fees, as well as moving costs, including renting a moving truck.

Or another option that would be helpful to the family is if you or someone you know has a rental space in the surrounding Twin Cities and are willing to work with Elizabeth and Tim regarding the first few months of rent as they do not have the financial means for a traditional arrangement.
