Hey y’all!
I’m raising funds for a dear friend who is currently facing a housing crisis in New Orleans! They are a black, queer, and trans-gnc person who is in need of some community support. Their roommate, a yt cis woman, decided to move out without much notice. She is leaving behind the responsibility of taking on the lease and paying double rent/ finding a new roommate in a short amount of time. My friend’s goal is $1,500 to help them secure their living situation or potentially relocate to a sublet. Please help bring some peace of mind to my friend and donate what you can! Housing plays such a major role in our mental health and over all well being. It is hard and vulnerable to ask for money, which is why I'm protecting their anonymity in this campaign. That said, please don't ask me who it is! Just know that every dollar amount is extremely helpful and appreciated and grants more ease in the life of a loved and valued community member and friend. Help them feel a sense of home in the midst of some stressful complications and challenges. With the first of the month just around the corner, this is a time sensitive goal!
