Houston Family Needs Help After Devastating Fire

My sister, Yesenia Mota, and her family have suffered a devastating fire in their northwest Houston apartment. She’s been a single mother making it on her own for many years, and despite her being fiercely independent, she has agreed to ask for help. My sister and I are very close and not being in Houston has been hard. But, with your kindness, I'd know that I’m doing something to help her out.
Late night Saturday, my sister was woken up by the smell of something burning. At first, she thought she left a candle on, but quickly saw that the fire was spreading from the electrical outlet and quickly engulfing the entire room. She quickly woke up everyone. My young nephew had to find the strength to carry his little 4-year old sister out of her room and run through the fire to safety.
This terrifying fire has left Yesenia’s family- Damian, her 15-year-old son; Alexandrea (Titi), her 4-year-old daughter, and 2 cats with nothing.
