Houston Help for Crystal

Hello,

12 years, and it will be Crystal’s Battle-versarry for Medullary Thyroid Cancer, at stage 4, Crystal has defied all odds! With a 3% survival rate.

MD Anderson Cancer Institute in Houston Texas could be her answer, and she needs a way there, one of the ONLY places in the US that knows and deals with this type of cancer. Currently she is on a “maintenance drug” that is only, somewhat working.

As a mother, I couldn’t imagine going to sleep at night in Crystal’s shoes. There are not enough words I can put on paper, to express the help she needs from her family and friends, we know as strong as she is, she would never ask for help… but at least as family, friends and a community we can come together for her, like she has done for every one of us, in one way or another.

I will start by saying, in June 2020, I was a first time mom, exhausted and couldn’t figure out why my son was “collicky”.. Crystal was there for me, bringing me different bottles to try, different formula and trying to trouble shoot my new born’s issue, I couldn’t be more thankful she was a support to lean on during one of the most vulnerable times in my life.
