Help for Howard & Starr

Howard and Starr have partnered together to further God's Kingdom in their ministry for over 50 years. Joining with Jesus to transform lives and bring the message of hope and salvation to a hurting world has been their calling, devotion, and hearts desire. Howard was Pastor at Calvary Church in Orland Park for 28 years. After retiring from this role he now serves Calvary Church as Pastor of Care.

On November 2nd, 2023 the Hoekstra family received confirmation from Howard's medical doctors that he was being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The overwhelming outpouring of love and prayers has been such an incredible blessing to Howard, Starr, and the family. We were also made aware of questions being asked by many regarding where to direct financial contributions to help Howard and Starr with their medical expenses. As the family navigates through options of treatment and Howard's care moving forward we felt this was the best option for anyone interested in helping in this way.
