Bring Howard Lyman to HHI VegFest!

We have one month (until June 27th) to raise speaker donation to Voice for a Viable Future & air fare to bring Howard Lyman, aka The Mad Cowboy, to Lowcountry VegFest on October 22, 2016 on Hilton Head Island, SC. 

We are very excited about the possibility of having such a well-known vegan & environmental activist speak at the inaugural South Carolina veg fest!

There will be no entry fee to the veg fest or fee to hear the speakers, so contribute now in lieu of entry tickets to help make this event as powerful & educational as possible. 

You may remember Howard Lyman from the famous Oprah Winfrey lawsuit in 1996. Lyman made remarks which, in turn, led to Oprah renouncing hamburgers. The National Cattlemen's Beef Association sued Lyman and Winfrey. Both were found not guilty of any wrongdoing early in 1998.
