Howard’s relapse Journey

I’m March of 2024 we found out that our son Howard has relapsed Neuroblastoma.

Howard had been fighting stage 4 Neuroblastoma since diagnosis in October of 2022. Howard was able to spend a few months at home and considered cancer free when we got our routine scans and got the news no cancer patient wants to hear.

In March of 2024 we discovered Howard had relapsed. With this relapse we have to be aggressive in treatments. Howards relapse is considered rare since it has traveled to the central nervous system. It is a place he previously never had disease.

Over the past several months we have done radiation to the brain and spine, multiple rounds of chemo and have fought insurance for medications his DNA results said could help.

We are blessed that the disease is stable with some signs of improvement however relapse treatments are extensive and ongoing for a very long time.

We will continue to fight and pray every step of the way and every single day. We thank those of you who have joined our journey and supported and loved us along the way.
