Hi, my name is Linda. I'm a writer based in NYC. Three months ago, my boyfriend Matt and I adopted two wonderful cats - Mala and Howl:
Howl is sick with FIP (Feline infectious peritonitis).
When it comes to difficult topics, I often have a lot of trouble putting my thoughts in order / writing clearly. So I made a comic to tell Howl's story told in the best way I know how - a mix of picture and words:
Currently, we are 1 and 1/2 months into Howl's 84 day treatment - and he's doing really well! His belly has deflated, his appetite is back... best of all, he's playing again! While we still have a long road ahead, we're very hopeful.
We're currently raising funds for a portion of Howl's medical costs. Howl's medicine isn't covered by our pet insurance. We're grateful for anything you can pitch in.
