Howle Family Fundraiser
Tax deductible
On October 18th Marcus & Alison's house caught fire. Thankfully, no one was injured. However the house sustained significant damage. The vast majority of their belongings are not salvageable, and the house will require extensive structural repair.
A small group of friends and family have assisted them in locating photographs and removing a small number of cherished items from the home. Through this process and several meetings with their insurance company, it has become apparent that there will be a large gap with payment from insurance and the cost to replace the household items they lost.
Marcus is a Captain with the Bellevue Fire Department and was on duty when this occurred. As someone who has witnessed this tragedy and how it affects others, one can only imagine what it is like for him and his family to go through this firsthand.
Donations to assist the Howle Family will be used to provide temporary storage, logistical supplies and to provide direct financial support. The family would like to be transparent with their needs and would like all donors to know that any unused funds will be donated to a local non-profit, assisting additional members of the community in need.
On behalf of Marcus and Alison, we would like to extend a huge Thank You to each of you that have reached out offering your help, condolences, and support. They are currently at a loss for words with how much this truly means.
