HOWLS SWEET HOWLS - Building a wolfdog a new home

Last year, the responsibility of taking over a large backyard breeding situation in Texas became quickly overwhelming for us. Approximately 50 wolfdogs were abandoned after their owner killed himself on the property. The dogs were left to fend for themselves, many of them running loose and all were in need of serious medical attention. The local Sheriff's Dept put our their pleas for help and sadly no one was able to do so.

So Villalobos took on this large endeavor and never in our wildest dreams did we think it would evolve into another large scale rescue situation. We had hoped that someone else would be able to take it all off of our hands but it just didn't happen. And that's when Villalobos Rescue Center - Texas was born.

And now the word is out. VRC is back in the "wolfdog biz" and the calls and emails are pouring in. With containment for these extremely athletic dogs being the #1 reason for being surrendered by unsuspecting owners or getting loose and ending up in an animal shelter, we sadly have a growing waiting list for these dogs who are desperate to come under our care.

We are in dire straits right now when it comes to our financial situation. Our TV show is not on air currently and we are not filming due to COVID. Sadly people forget that despite not being on TV, we are still doing the same work....SAVING DOGS!
