Hi, we are HIGH PROFILE GROUND ZERO!
We are a dance company from Las Vegas Nevada created in 2010. Our mission is to produce a deep passion for dance for all by creating an enjoyable, hardworking, and positive atmosphere for creative minds to grow. HPG0 strives to captivate audiences and inspire those who wish to seek their dreams.
Since 2010 HPG0 has worked professionally around the world teaching, dancing, and performing. This company has been displaced for a decade but has worked out of garages, parking structures, living rooms, and rented out of multiple studios. Through the ups and downs we have never had a place that we could genuinely call 'ours'.
This is why we want to open our own dance studio here in Las Vegas!! Our goal is to unite the Las Vegas dance circle and stand up as a thriving community. HPG0 feels like it is time to make a difference in the Las Vegas community. Embracing the unique culture of Las Vegas and all of its talents that are hidden behind the glimmering lights of the strip. Bringing together the best dancers and choreographers from Las Vegas paired with a comfortable yet challenging studio space.
Through the gracious help of friends and family, the years of dedication of everyone on HPG0, and the vision of Marisa Herrera and Troy Corrales, we have been offered the opportunity to open a home of our very own, High Profile Dance Academy (HPDA)! But this is only a small victory for a long long battle ahead.
THE GOAL
-This studio will serve as the creative junction for HPG0. Giving us the space to film, choreograph, and create so that our vision can be shown to the world. Our team is multi faceted, showing creativity not just in dance but in photography, videography, web design, music engineering, and painting.
-A comfortable yet challenging environment for all dancers. The first of its kind in Las Vegas creating a platform for local underground dancers to reach their goals.
-At HPDA we will offer a variety of classes and workshops taught by the best local artists and inviting the best choreographers, dancers, freestylers, bboys, and leadership from around the world. Instilling the essential physical and mental elements of dance that will inspire students to achieve their dreams.
-We will house regular showcases of all styles of choreography. Host battles that will flaunt the unique talents of Las Vegas to the world. Effectively being the home base for any creative mind to excel and grow.
WE AIM TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY.
WHAT WE NEED
-Building a studio is not a cheap endeavor. We aim for a humble goal of 10,000 dollars. This may seem like a huge chunk of money but in reality its a small portion for what we need to function as a studio. Our expenses include: build out fees, rent, flooring, speakers and amplifier, media equipment, furnishing, licensing, insurance, signage, maintenance, phone, internet, POS, retail space, curriculum, programming, and trademark rights.
