Superhero Mural in a Guatemala Orphanage
Donation protected
In April 2015,
AMD Paintings is going to the Hogar Miguel Magone Orphanage in Guatemala to paint a mural in the boys' building! With the support of Work, Play, Love and Hogar's Heroes: Alycia Drube, Felicity Landa, and Doug Drube will be traveling to Guatemala for a week to play with the kids, repair their buildings, volunteer time and PAINT! Work, Play, Love and Hogar's Heroes are the non-profit organizations that support the boys' and girls' orphanages we will be visiting.
Please help us raise our own funds for paint & repair supplies, and our cost of food and utilities while we are there. We already have round trip tickets but we still need to make sure there wil be plenty of paint and brushes.
To have an idea of what we are going to do check out this video of Chris Chien the LA based artist who went out to paint the mural in the girls' building:
Any extra money we get will go toward buying a small video camera so we can make a video like Chris's and after that it all stays as donation to the Orphanages.
Remember, every dollar goes far when you are giving a great gift, and having a talented electrician going we can use every cent to make their lives even more reliable and safe.
We thank you for your support!
This is the wall I'll be painting!! I'm so excited!
