Frozen Embryo Transfer
Donation protected
It will be three years of trying to conceive in a few short months. Early in Ryan and I’s relationship, I told him I wanted a baby someday. When I moved to Maryland, we started trying immediately. After six months, I was in my OBGYN’s office explaining my concerns about why I wasn’t pregnant yet. The average time frame for infertility testing requires one year of trying to conceive, but I knew something was wrong, and my doctor listened. Before the testing started, Ryan and I talked about how we would handle the results; what if I couldn’t have a baby? How would that affect me and our relationship? Little did I know how truly how strong I was and our relationship. I was given the diagnosis of “Unexplained Infertility.” Almost three years later, hundreds of appointments, three procedures, six rounds of ovulation induction, one miscarriage, one laparoscopic surgery, one failed IUI, and one IVF egg retrieval, we have 8 frozen babies ready to be transferred!
Unfortunately, this journey has drained us financially. So, we are asking for your help making Baby Payne a reality! We are starting a Puzzle Fundraiser and need to raise $5,000.00 to transfer one of our embryos! The puzzle has 250 pieces, and we need to sell each piece for $20 to reach our goal. Although, any donation is accepted and greatly appreciated! Anyone who donates to our Baby Payne fund, we will write your name on the back of a puzzle piece, and when the puzzle is complete, we will frame it and hopefully hang it in the nursery. We ordered a customized puzzle from Etsy and will share it with everyone when it’s delivered.
Today, I am lucky enough to be a stepmom, and Connor has only strengthened my want to be a mother.
