Medx Program Funding

Hello everyone! My name is Francesca and I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Florida (USF). Apart from being a full-time student, I do volunteer work at Advent Health in the Mother/Baby Unit and I work part time as an optometric technician. My ambition is to one day specialize in women's care and bring babies into this world!

Recently, I've been accepted into an undergraduate program that would give me the incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in caregiving and provide medical treatment to the low-income communities in the Dominican Republic. I will be able to participate in surgical and clinical rotations and learn about phlebotomy, suturing, and how to deliver a baby!

Nevertheless, I am reaching out for your support to help cover the cost of the program. Any contribution, big or small, will bring me one step closer to making this a reality.

¡Hola a todos! Mi nombre es Francesca y estoy estudiando Ciencias Biomédicas en la Universidad del Sur de Florida (USF). Además de ser una estudiante a tiempo completo, hago trabajo voluntario en el hospital de Advent Health en la Unidad de Madre/Bebé y trabajo a tiempo parcial como técnica optométrica. ¡Mi ambición algún día es especializarme en el cuidado de mujeres y traer bebes a este mundo!

Recientemente, he sido aceptada en un programa universitario que me da la increíble oportunidad de obtener experiencia práctica en el cuidado médico y dar tratamiento a las comunidades de bajos recursos en la República Dominicana. ¡Podré participar en rotaciones quirurgicas y clínicas, y aprender sobre flebotomía, sutura y como atender partos!

Sin embargo, estoy buscando su apoyo para cubrir los gastos asociados al programa. Cualquier contribución, grande o pequeña, me acercará un paso más a hacer realidad este sueño.
