Service Dog for abused 5 year old

We are trying to fund a therapy dog for our 5 year old son. He was in a school from the ages of 2-3 and we recently discovered that he was assaulted by the teacher, locked in a dark bathroom for extended hours, force fed food, and possibly had his mouth duct taped shut. This happened over a one year period and we, along with other parents, had no idea or sign that such behavior was occurring. He is one of several classmates going through the legal and counseling processes surrounding this case. He was recently diagnosed with PTSD and has several psychological issues because of these traumatic occurrences. He wakes up in the middle of the night from nightmares and vomits, has issues socializing, has issues being alone, and refuses to go anywhere, to include bed, without someone with him. Instead of pursuing the legal route, we are trying to expedite his recovery/ therapy and focus strictly on getting a dog for him as opposed to hoping we would receive some aid at the conclusion of the trial. This covers a dog specifically trained to cope with behaviors surrounding PTSD and the training necessary to acclimate the dog and our son so that they function as a team. We both work public service and if it were feasible to fund this training/ purchase outright, we would not be asking for assistance. Any support, help, and/or donation would be greatly appreciated.
