Becky, Brett & Millie Mae Sawyer

If you know Becky and Brett, you know their love for the simple things in life: a good hike, a cold craft beer, DIY projects, a homemade Christmas gift, and if you have seen them recently you know their love for their daughter, Millie Mae. Although they enjoy the simple things in life, their parenthood journey and Millie’s first few months of life have been anything but simple.

Millie was welcomed into the world on May 8th and was born with some physical complications. As the Sawyers always do, they took this challenge head on and have proven to be amazing parents already. Unfortunately this past week, they were faced with another challenge. After countless days at the Children's Hospital with exploratory testing and surgeries, the Doctors have said that Millie’s liver is failing. Even though they do not have a diagnosis as to what is causing this yet, she has been put on a liver transplant list. They are continuing to run labs and testing to officially diagnose Millie’s condition.

The Sawyers are going to need the support and help of their community during this long journey ahead. Money donated will go to the Sawyer family to help with medical bills, time-off work and other necessary items to alleviate stress as they pivot their way to a new norm. Any donation is greatly appreciated. And if you are not in a place to donate - prayers and positive thoughts are very much welcomed too.
