Projecting for Animal Rights
Donation protected
The way animals have come to serve human beings is nothing more than a human-object relationship. To us, their value only comes down to how much profit we can get out of them. This mentality has led us to massacre the planet that we live in to the point of no return by torturing and killing it's animals, wiping so many species out that we are in the brink of the 6th mass extinction of all history, destroying it's oceans, forests and everything in between. The earth needs us because it cannot afford this behavior any longer.
Common sense would say that we should protect animals but instead, we decide to torture, abuse, and murder these innocent creatures just so we can selfishly eat their flesh, their eggs, drink their milk, and wear their skin for nothing more than a palate preference and fashion.
We use them to entertain us even though it's 2014, and even to test our cosmetics in their eyes and on their raw skin when it's completely unnecessary and a scientific fraud.
Tradition is no excuse for animal abuse!
The animal exploiting industries thrive off of the ignorance of the public. We must expose the truth and fight for those who have no voice. Remember, the power is in the hands of the consumer, and the best way to fight against these corporations is by exposing what happens behind their doors and educating the public on these issues.
How?
We've found that the best way to do this. Trying to get friends to watch videos that expose the truth behind the doors of these industries is very hard sometimes because many people won't want to watch, and even then, we think more people that should be watching it never come across it. By projecting this footage on walls throughout busy urban areas you are exposing hundreds of people to footage many have never seen or may not ever see in their lifetime! This has been done already in NYC and the results are astonishing,
This can be a very expensive project which is where you come in.
What's needed...
-Epson EX5220 Projector ($500 on the epson website).
-Power Bright APA600-12 inverter ($188 on amazon).
-Battery charger ($28 on amazon)
-Jumper cables ($12 on amazon)
-Deep Cycle Marine Battery 90AH ($200 which can be bought at a boating store).
-DVD player (I'm assuming most will already have this).
This comes to $1002 after tax.
We already have a setup in NYC that we built up, so we're collecting funds for 2 new setups which will be donated to an amazing Animal Rights group in San Diego and another in Columbus.
That makes a total of $2004, so we figure the other $300 will go toward gofundme fees, as well as shipping charges.
I really hope you can help us out...the Animals depend on all of us to work together.
