Amy Rasmussen and Family Fundraiser
Donation protected
As many of you may know, Amy passed away in the morning, June 28th, at home with her family after a four-year battle with cancer. Although Amy’s life ended well before we were ready, her warrior spirit has left an indelible mark on her family and friends. Amy fought her battle with unmatched bravery, grace, and a little sass (let’s be honest, a lot of sass). Amy’s strength throughout this unfair disease is something to be admired.
Thank you to all of Amy and Steve’s extended family and friends for your ongoing love and support, including the generous contributions you made to the family when Amy was first diagnosed. Back in 2018 when Amy was first diagnosed, we raised $16,900 to help with family expenses. Steve and Amy were both so appreciative of your generosity in contributions, as well as all of the meal cards and meal preparation throughout the years.
Many friends and family have been asking what they can do for the family now. We would suggest the following:
Donations may be made to the cholangiocarcinoma foundation at https://cholangiocarcinoma.org
Gift cards for Steve and the boys for meals (door dash, uber eats, etc.)
Consider a contribution to the family’s GoFundMe page. Amy, Steve, Riley and Keegan made very special memories during their trips to Hawaii. We would love for Steve and the boys to be able to visit Hawaii again, to remember Amy and make new memories. If you would like to make a contribution to the GoFundMe page, this would be a wonderful way to send Steve and the boys something really special.
We all miss Amy more than words can express. We are grateful for the many beautiful memories she left us with.
We love you, Amy. Always.
