Hello Beautiful People,

Ken Vegas here, along with David Van Buzzo, Stafford and Rebekah Roberts, on behalf of Mo B. Dick, dear friend and beloved member of our drag king community. Mo is facing a daunting challenge. He has been diagnosed with rapid severe hip degeneration in BOTH HIPS, requiring immediate double hip replacement surgery.

We all know Mo for the tireless constant support and inspiration he brings to our community. Mo has freely given the world Drag King History profiles for researchers, students, drag enthusiasts. Losing work, turning down gigs, the cost of medical equipment, combined with the associated recovery expenses are overwhelming.

The drag king profession is physically demanding, and this surgery is crucial for Mo, not just to continue doing what he loves - entertaining us, being a pillar of strength, and serving our community, but it is also key for him to have a more pain free life. It's time for us to step up and show our support.

We are setting up this GoFundMe campaign to raise at least $8,500 to cover surgery and post-operation care for Mo. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a world of difference.

Mo B. Dick has always been there for us, now we can return the favor. Let's band together and support our fellow Drag King, so he can continue to inspire us with his courage, talent, and dedication.
