St. John School of the Arts at Professional Children’s School ... A School-to-School Rescue
We did it! Our goal was to raise a total of $125,000. We've raised over $133,000 and many of you reading this post are the ones who made it happen. Free classes will start for the children on November 11. THANK YOU! GoFundMe is unable to transfer funds to US Virgin Island banks. Accordingly, the contributions sent to GoFundMe will be sent to my personal account and I will then transfer them to St. John School of the Arts. In due course, you will receive an acknowledgment on the school letterhead from SJSA.

Member of the Board of Directors
(The original appeal) The children of St. John have been victimized in many serious ways by Hurricane Irma. Many of them have lost their homes, in addition to their schools, which have suffered varying degrees of damage. Fortunately, St. John School of the Arts was spared major damage and will immediately act to partially fill this void by providing free classes to over 400 island children.
St. John School of the Arts has been one of the shining lights serving the children of St. John since 1980. The school was scheduled to have a fundraiser/concert, featuring the Ahn Trio, at our school-theatre on Friday, October 27, on St. John. Hurricane Irma made that impossible BUT the concert has been re-imagined and relocated, on the same date, to the Professional Children’s School in New York City!
