RECENT JAN 12/ 2017 Jack again has a bladder infection with blood in his urine and will need urine tests and antibiotics at least if not x-rays again. Please help if you can. The reason it says $600 dollars is $350 of the dollars you see here went on his previous treatment. Again I will show all reciepts and give permission for the vet to verify the truth of this.
JUNE 2016 Poor little Jack has had a really rough time. He was brought into the Magly Animal Hospital in South Carolina paralysed in his back legs and abandoned there. I saw him online and immediately fell in love with him. I was fortunate enough to be the one chosen to adopt Jack and flew him up to Victoria, B.C. in November 2015.
Jack being paralysed needs to be expressed to go to the washroom 3 or 4 times a day. Though I have done my best with this he is still very prone to UTI's. He went into The Fairfield Pet Clinic this week in Victoria BC which (they will confirm this), with blood in his urine, crystals and it is suspected he has stones. He also needs a x-ray to see if he has stones and a special diet to try and disolve the crystals and stones and possibly surgery incase they do not disolve, or are too large to disolve , or if if they block his urethia and he cannot urinate. This can happen at any time even while they are disolving.
I have spent $355.58 so far on the first round of labwork and antibiotics. It is money I have taken out of my rent and hoping to recover it and he still needs x-rays.
I have been quoted $300 for the x-rays. The x-rays to look for stones, labwork, and antibiotics amount to $655.58.. It is quite possible that he will also need a 2nd round of antibiotics and more labwork to make sure the infection is gone. Then depending on what the x-rays show he might need surgery which could be as high as $2000 above the other expenditures. He is such a happy little fellow and only 2 or 3 years old please help Jack. Thank you so much from both of us.
