Hello friends! I'm Dominick Finelle. A year ago, my family and I received devastating news. Every year I had a physical showing a slight elevation in my prostate-specific antigen, PSA. Nothing to worry about, the doctor explained. On my last physical due to chronic back pain, my doctor revealed that my PSA levels still were elevated. Something was wrong. With each test, the news progressively got worse.
It was stage 4 prostate cancer. It had spread outside the prostate, to my lymph nodes and bones. To make things even worse, the urologist said It was very aggressive. My local doctors put me on hormone-blocking therapy, the standard treatment. He said it might buy me a little time. I drastically changed my diet and daily routine, hoping to prolong my time. My wife and I have been frantically searching for anything or anyone that can help. We found Dr. Eugene Kwon, a urologist at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He has had some great results with advanced patients like myself. Dr. Kwon provides aggressive individualized treatment, not just the standard protocol.

I need some help. I'm only 59 and still have kids in high school. Dr. Kwon is my best chance at staying with my kids long enough to see them through school. However, I live in North Carolina. I would have to travel to Minnesota regularly. My insurance won't cover my cost for treatment at the Mayo Clinic. The travel and out-of-pocket expenses will be a huge burden to my family.
