Shave Tim's Moustache for Mental Health

The world famous moustache on the face of Tim from Hardware Unboxed first debuted on YouTube in August of 2020 to overwhelming love. Or was it mixed reviews? We sure hope it was the former.

Anyway, it's time for it to go. And there's no better way to do so than in support of mental health research.

The Black Dog Institute is an Australian non-profit with the mission of researching early detection, prevention and treatment of common mental health disorders such as suicide, depression and anxiety. At Hardware Unboxed we are passionate about mental health and the Black Dog Institute's science and research focus into this area fits with our core values.

In shaving off the beloved moustache, we hope to not only raise much needed funds to support mental health research, but also to encourage people around the world to look after their mental health. Reach out and get help if you need it, and check in on your loved ones, because it's been an especially tough couple of years.

Our goal is to raise over $10,000 AUD in support of the Black Dog Institute from our viewers worldwide. If this goal is reached, Tim will shave off his moustache during a live stream on the Hardware Unboxed channel
